Together: Water Scarcity Makeathon Dubai, 2022

Problem: Poor access to clean drinking water.

Solution: We built a prototype of a water collection and production machine. Water is made of H2O, which is also found as a compound in air. We found a way to extract water from the air by using a special filter which uses humidity from the air, and turns it into water. This machine can produce a liter of water per hour. Our research was based on an Israeli company, Water Gen.
