The Clouds: Water Scarcity Makeathon Dubai, 2022

The problem: After the process of boiling water for drinking purposes, there is still chlorine left in the water, making it unsafe for drinking.

Solution: We created a way to eliminate chlorine from water using natural materials which are accessible and found in nature. We created a filter made of charcoal, rocks and sand which we use to filter the water and make it suitable for drinking. This solution can easily be used in rural areas using low-cost materials found in nature.
